Job Summary
Manage company bread routes including distribution, sales, returns, account service, and new accounts within your assigned territory. Interface with the sales department and corporate customers to establish route sales goals, standards, and customer requirements while ensuring maximum sales profitability and growth. Acquire and maintain knowledge of all company products to effectively assist route salesmen and manage day-to-day operations of a route distribution center. Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Perform other functions as assigned by the Director of Route Operations. Must possess a valid DOT medical card, a clean driving record, and a company-provided vehicle for travel. Requires 2 to 3 years of route sales operations experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
