Job Summary
Agency Coordinator responsible for supporting the agency team with office administration, processing provider orders and visit authorizations, scheduling clinicians, coordinating referrals, and ensuring compliant, timely patient care transitions. Requires strong communication, customer service, and documentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite. Position supports maintaining relationships with clients and staff, overseeing insurance verification and authorization processes, and ensuring services align with contracts and regulatory requirements. 2+ years in a medical setting preferred; on-site role in San Francisco, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 yrs. experience in a medical setting in either a patient care or administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, Internet Explorer, and professional telephone protocol
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with high precision, paying attention to detail to achieve the high accuracy levels required and timely follow-up and close-out of all matters
