Job Summary
The Agency Closing Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of deal servicing, acting as the primary point of contact for both internal and external clients. Key responsibilities include analyzing credit documentation, coordinating syndicated loan closings, processing borrowing and payment requests, calculating and billing various fees, managing lifecycle events, reviewing credit agreements, and serving as a liaison with relevant stakeholders. Candidates must have advanced Loan IQ experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle complex transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or closely-related quantitative field from an accredited U.S. school (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of relevant Loan Agency experience supporting syndicated loans
- Advanced, hands‐on experience with Loan IQ (facility onboarding, deal closing setup, events, fee setup, amendments)
- Strong understanding of credit agreements and related loan documentation
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of MS-Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience with ClearPar or similar platforms
