Job Summary
Join our team as an Aged Care Comprehensive Assessor conducting high-quality in-home assessments across the Atherton region in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. The role involves performing thorough aged care assessments to identify needs, facilitating referrals to essential services, promoting daily living functionality, and engaging with families and carers. You will travel within your service area daily, with generous travel reimbursement for using your own vehicle, while scheduling is managed by a dedicated team. The position requires prior experience in aged care, a health-related tertiary qualification, and current registration with the relevant Australian professional body. A current Australian driver licence and the ability to travel within the service area are essential, along with eligibility to work as a permanent resident or citizen. Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year in aged care, including client assessments and/or service delivery
- Tertiary education in a health-related discipline (e.g. nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work)
- Current unrestricted General Registration with AHPRA or relevant professional association
- Current Australian driver licence, comprehensively insured vehicle and ability to travel within service area
- Permanent Resident or Citizen due to contractual requirements
