Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and inspect John Deere and related heavy, off-road, construction, and lawn equipment at Reynolds Farm Equipment. Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products, ensure timely and accurate diagnostics, and document quotes and repairs on work orders. Foster teamwork and communicate clearly about equipment status; mentor service student technicians or trainees; uphold confidentiality and safety in alignment with OSHA protocols. Reynolds provides Comprehensive Web-Based Training through John Deere University to support ongoing skills development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
- 1+ years experience performing service repairs; preferred to meet performance metrics
- Basic knowledge of data entry/keyboarding
- Product knowledge of heavy and diesel equipment; off road; construction; equipment technology
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, technology, and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, and heavy equipment
- Adequate toolset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email/internet
- Strong communication skills; confidentiality
- Team-oriented; fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs
- CDL preferred; forklift license preferred
