Ag Service Road Technician

Diagnoses and repairs John Deere equipment in-field as a mobile service technician, traveling to customer locations and performing diagnostics, repairs, and inspections to meet service commitments. Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products, identifies and communicates solutions for customer service opportunities, and keeps an accurate inventory of parts, tools, and technology on the service vehicle. Documents work thoroughly on work orders, adheres to safety protocols (OSHA) and confidentiality, and supports teamwork by mentoring service student technicians when applicable. Strong communication skills to clearly convey status of repairs and maintain positive customer relations; requires ability to lift at least 75 lbs and operate diagnostic tools and standard software. High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred; valid driver’s license required; CDL and forklift license preferred.
