Job Summary
Stock parts and accessories, manage inventory organization, and handle phone inquiries to meet customer needs. Provide product insights on John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, and AGCO equipment to enhance repair experiences. Collaborate on department tasks to maintain workflow efficiency. Requires valid driver's license, physical fitness for lifting, and 2+ years in a parts department. Flexible for extended hours and weekends. Background in farming is highly regarded.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of John Deere Ag products, as well as other popular brands such as Case IH, New Holland, AGCO and others.
- Proven track record in delivering robust customer service to both internal and external customers.
- A solid understanding of parts and machinery, enabling you to effectively assist customers in their selections.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish productive relationships with customers and team members.
- Experience working with software systems, facilitating efficient inventory management.
- Physical fitness to handle and lift heavy parts as required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when necessary to meet customer demands.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Parts Department environment.
Desired Qualifications
- A background or experience in farming and agriculture, is highly regarded.
- A Journeyman Parts Designation, while not mandatory, is considered an asset.
