Ag Loan Officer

Job Summary
Develop and manage loan portfolios in commercial, agricultural, and construction lending. Build and maintain credit relationships with bank loan customers and actively establish new borrowing relationships in alignment with Loan Policy, procedures, and compliance standards. Demonstrate proficiency in credit and financial analysis, work either independently or collaboratively, meet deadlines, manage multiple responsibilities, and deliver high-quality customer service while communicating effectively with external and internal stakeholders. Helpful familiarity with regulatory requirements related to the job duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Relevant experience or certifications may be considered in place of a degree
- Bank trainee or intern experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field
- Preference given to candidates with Agriculture, Ranching, or Small Business experience
- Proficiency in credit and financial analysis
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Meeting deadlines under pressure
- Flexible scheduling
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to job duties
