Job Summary
Ag Loan Officer responsible for developing lending relationships, conducting credit investigations, underwriting and servicing agricultural loans, and cross-selling loan products while growing a quality loan portfolio. Requires evaluating loan applications, determining credit decisions within policy and regulatory guidelines, preparing loan documents, and providing sound financial guidance to borrowers. Role includes full loan cycle responsibilities, potential weekend hours, and interaction with loan processing teams to ensure timely documentation and servicing. Preferred experience includes lending operations knowledge and exposure to agricultural operations; Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting is preferred. Strong service orientation and leadership experience desired.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency
- 3+ years previous financial institution experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior leadership experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business or accounting related field
