Job Summary
Ag Loan Officer responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of agricultural lending relationships (production agriculture, equipment financing, real estate, operating lines of credit); conduct financial analysis and credit underwriting; build relationships with farmers, ranchers, and rural agribusinesses; prospect new opportunities; monitor risk and portfolio performance; support business development through community engagement and consultative financial solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of agricultural lending or related credit experience
- Knowledge of agricultural operations including crop and livestock financing
- Strong credit analysis and financial statement interpretation skills
- Proven ability to develop new business and manage client relationships
- Understanding of agricultural markets and rural communities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Agriculture Business, or related field preferred
