Job Summary
Assist in examining fields for yield, soil adaptation, and resistance to diseases/pests; help growers with planting, cultivation, and harvesting methods; support product field development and sales functions; scout fields for noxious weeds, diseases, and pests; travel to other Valley Agronomics facilities as needed; follow safety and regulatory policies; communicate information about products and services to customers; maintain customer service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in an agriculture-related field
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Good communication skills: ability to communicate professionally with managers, supervisors, employees, customers, vendors and the general public
- Must exhibit a professional and positive image
