Job Summary
Ag/Commercial Loan Officer responsible for providing loans and banking products to commercial clients across agricultural, business banking, and commercial real estate segments. Primarily handles Ag loans but supports the commercial loan portfolio, acts as the primary point of contact for loan seekers, evaluates credit to determine lending decisions, assesses collateral value/status, cross-sells bank products, develops sales strategies to grow lending revenues and deposits, builds community relationships, manages client portfolios, ensures high levels of customer service, and maintains understanding of internal policies and banking regulations. The role is on-site in Chatfield, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- 3-5+ years of commercial or ag lending required
- Strong communication and negotiating skills
