Job Summary
Ag Business Development Equipment Sales Professional responsible for introducing and promoting Butler Machinery’s equipment to new and existing customers, building lasting relationships as the primary dealership contact, promoting new/used Ag and construction equipment and rental solutions, delivering equipment demonstrations on job sites or customers' locations, assessing trade-ins, delivering real-world value propositions, providing world-class customer service, promoting parts, service, and CVAs, following up on service/parts orders, attending trade shows/home shows and other outreach events, meeting activity targets for assigned accounts, staying informed about competitors and industry trends, and traveling as needed. Requires willingness to travel, flexible hours (including evenings as needed), a good driving record, and pre-employment drug testing; CDL is preferred or willingness to obtain; knowledge of the local construction/agricultural market; strong communication, organizational and computer skills; ability to manage multiple accounts and establish new business relationships; and a proactive, self-motivated approach to grow professionally within a multi-location family business.
