Job Summary

Mentor a cohort of club members through college matriculation, class selection, major identification, and exam preparation while guiding career explorations. Identify participants for the College Success Initiative, initiate and maintain contacts with families, schools, and organizations, and organize annual networking events to support cohort connections. Ensure members develop strong interview, public speaking, and presentation skills while creating resumes and maintaining a safe program environment. Track and measure all initiative activities, submit required reports timely, and support broader clubhouse initiatives. This part-time role requires 15-20 hours weekly Monday through Friday in the afternoon and evening.

Required Qualifications

  • A four-year degree from a state-accredited university or college
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in youth development
  • Experience working as a guidance counselor
  • Experience working in college admissions
  • Experience working in career coaching with youth ages 18 – 24
  • Strong written, verbal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and dedicated to the organizational mission
  • Additional experience with youth including, teaching, coaching, mentoring, etc.
