Afterschool Junior Counselor- Homewood Schools

Supervise children at all times with safety as the first priority, actively participating in daily activities and events while monitoring behavior using appropriate discipline techniques. Lead and manage groups of youth under shared supervision, providing opportunities for leadership development and adhering to YMCA standards of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. Communicate with supervisors regarding behavioral incidents, maintain facilities and supplies, and attend mandatory training, staff meetings, and in-service events. Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and complete required background screening and CPR/First Aid certification. Work Monday through Friday from school dismissal to 6:00 p.m. across Homewood Schools locations, fostering a positive role model environment for youth and teens.
