Job Summary
Pick up students from designated school locations and escort them safely to the 14Y After School program, maintaining strict safety and attendance protocols throughout the day. Provide continuous supervision during activities, transitions, and snack times while actively supporting children in art, sports, science, and academic sessions. Manage student behavior using established protocols, foster social dynamics and friendship building, and lead at least one easy-going class weekly. Maintain records of activities, behavior, and any injuries, ensuring physical and mental safety for all participants. Communicate regularly with the Program Manager and co-leaders, uphold agency values, and participate in monthly meetings and supervision evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+
- Availability to work on site at the 14Y from 2:30pm-6:15pm at least 3 days per week from September 14th - January 22nd and January 25th-June 4th and staff orientation in September
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children ages 5 to 10 years old strongly preferred.
