Job Summary
FRCS Afterschool Chorus Director for grades 3-6 oversees weekly after-school chorus, determines chorus size and selects participants, prepares and conducts practices, and leads performances and concerts. Responsibilities include planning concerts, coordinating off-site events and transportation, communicating updates to students and parents, providing progress updates, and ensuring materials are accessible. This is a stipend opportunity for the Foxborough area with 2 weekly practice sessions during the school year.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with choral direction or conducting
- Ability to schedule and lead after-school activities
- Experience organizing concerts/performances
- Strong communication with students and parents
- Ability to coordinate logistics and transportation
- Familiarity with music literacy and rehearsal planning
