Job Summary
Conduct fun, enriching after-school activities while ensuring a safe, supportive space for every child. Serve snacks and maintain a tidy environment ready for play. Act as a positive role model and communicate effectively with families and school staff. Lead 30-minute active play sessions and help keep the area organized. Maintain CPR/First Aid certification or obtain it within 45 days. Work part-time at the Y in North Augusta, where you'll join a mission-driven team focused on youth development and community impact.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ with a high school diploma or GED
- A heart for kids and a head for responsibility
- Strong communication skills and good judgment
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified withing 45 days
- Willingness to learn YMCA curriculum (we'll train you!)
- Ability to lead 30+ minutes of active play, because we move!
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in youth programs or early education is a plus!
