Job Summary
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities for children after school, setting up spaces and consulting with kids to involve them in engagement. Provide holistic physical, social, and emotional support from entry until handover to parents, while administering first aid when necessary and ensuring current child protection procedures are followed. Collaborate with the EAGLES Club Teacher to prepare materials and attend regular staff meetings. Maintain a safe, secure environment and uphold inclusive practices tailored to children's ages, interests, and abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Training and experience of working with children in a childcare setting, play-based setting or school setting
- An understanding of the role of play and outdoor learning in children's lives
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Communication skills in English
- Hold a valid work permit for Switzerland
