Job Summary
The Aftersales & Service Engineer role involves service work including preventative maintenance, machine inspections, and new installations on customer sites for High Pressure Waterjet Cutting Systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing machine failures both on-site and remotely, providing professional technical support to minimize downtime, promoting sales of spare parts and maintenance programs, and building customer relationships through service and sales. Candidates should have a technical education in mechanics and/or electronics, practical knowledge in related fields, strong communication skills, and must be willing to travel extensively.
Required Qualifications
- Technical education in the field of mechanics and/or electronics
- Practical knowledge in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering
- Customer orientated with a professional & positive attitude
- Good organizational skills
- Familiar with Microsoft office software
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Flexible in location of work, must be willing to travel and prepared to stay away from home as required
- Driving license is an essential requirement
- Good command of English language is a must for internal company communication
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical qualification is preferred but not essential
- Any additional language skills are a benefit
