Job Summary
Works collaboratively as a team member to ensure a safe and supportive classroom for children. Assists the Lead Caregiver in implementing Early Childhood Curriculum and daily routine activities, including supervision and interaction with children, record-keeping, and maintaining a clean environment. Requires good judgment, confidentiality, effective communication, and physical capability for the job's responsibilities. Position involves closing the classroom, health checks, and requires both a high school diploma and three months of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 months related paid or volunteer experience
- NYS Driver's License with good driving record and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to work with children of all ages and their families
- Ability to work well in a team-teaching atmosphere
- Good communication skills
- Acceptable physical and mental health for responsibilities
Additional Requirements
- Must attend meetings and First Aid/MAT training if requested
- Must complete and maintain required training in specific topic areas as assigned
