Afternoon Assistant Teacher-Maple Grove

Assistant Teachers at a Maple Grove, MN child care center support daily care and learning activities. Responsibilities include maintaining a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized; observing, assessing, and planning for children; effective communication with families; completing extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics; and working indoors or outdoors with children. Must meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience and be able to engage in physical activity with children. Schedule is Monday–Friday. Compensation ranges from $19.19 to $19.94 per hour with health insurance (medical, dental, vision) and paid time off plus 401K (with company match) for full-time employees; limited medical for part-time workers; and education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification for all employees.
