Aftermarket Estimator

Job Summary
Analyze construction drawings, specifications, proposals, and documentation to prepare time, material, equipment, and labor estimates for assigned projects. Conduct special studies to establish standard hour data and effect cost reductions while reviewing project estimates to prepare quotes and resolve client issues. Research existing job history to ensure quote accuracy and send preliminary quotation requests to vendors. Work with the purchasing group on key buying issues and comply with ISO procedures. Maintain technical knowledge of WesTech products through workshops and technical publications. Prepare detailed itemized lists based on final plans and specifications for planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task including handling multiple job assignments simultaneously
- Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate percentage increases and decreases
- Must be detail-oriented and well-organized
- Must be able to work at desk computer/phone system
- Some lifting may be involved (40 lbs)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft and Excel and Word
