Job Summary
The Aftermarket Customer Support Representative drives retail parts and service sales by building strong customer relationships and meeting aftermarket objectives. Responsibilities include selling Parts and Service solutions, supporting all product lines, promoting aftermarket promotions to increase participation, increasing store sales with existing and new customers (John Deere and competing brands), promptly following up with customers, delivering sound business advice, completing call reports, communicating customer concerns to the appropriate manager, profiling customer fleets in dealership systems, participating in customer clinics, providing limited technical support, and backing up the front counter during planting and harvest. The role requires self-motivation, effective communication, and a team-oriented approach; basic knowledge of agricultural equipment and dealership operations is preferred. Must be capable of independent motivation and proficient with standard computer applications; a high school diploma or GED is required; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 annually, with incentive eligibility based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of database software, online parts books, etc. and ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain rapport with key accounts
- Basic knowledge of agricultural equipment and dealership operations
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of Sales experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of database software, online parts books, etc. and ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office
