Job Summary
Create a resource bank for HomeBase clients and conduct home visits to assist families in identifying community supports. Meet with participants needing intensive services to help them adjust to the community and attend non-court appointments for additional instructions. Act as a liaison between families, case managers, and providers while accompanying Outreach Specialists to presentations for resource acquisition. Assist the Housing Specialist in maintaining relationships with landlords and brokers, and manage tracking for City rental subsidy renewals. Requires high school diploma or GED with three years of experience working with substance abuse, homelessness, and families.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years' experience
- Experience working with substance abuse, homelessness, families and groups
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Basic computer skills
