Job Summary

Conduct bi-monthly meetings with families to assess needs, provide support, and monitor progress. Facilitate parent-child conflict resolution sessions and coach caregivers on effective parenting strategies and behavior management. Identify barriers impacting family functioning, including stress, trauma, and system involvement, while connecting families to behavioral health, financial, housing, and educational resources. Plan and host Guardian Empowerment League activities twice monthly and quarterly family events. Collaborate with Reintegration Specialists and case managers to align support with youth service plans, participate in case reviews, and document all contacts and progress. Maintain consistent communication to encourage engagement and retention. May include a caseload of up to 14 youth. Report any safety concerns or critical incidents promptly.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with families and/or at-risk youth populations
  • Experience working with families of justice-involved or high-risk youth
  • Knowledge of family systems, trauma, and adolescent development
  • Strong skills in family engagement, conflict resolution, and mediation
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with caregivers and youth
  • Strong understanding of community resources and service systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, strengths-based, and family-centered practice
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field
