Job Summary
Implement the daily Aftercare program for Pre-K through 8th grade students, managing sign-in/sign-out, playground supervision, and minor first aid needs. Prepare learning environments, arrange snacks, and lead team members in setting up sport activities and maintaining housekeeping. Maintain daily records of arrivals, departures, and enrichment activities while reviewing incident reports and student health information. Communicate with parents, school administration, and the Aftercare Supervisor regarding site problems, staff absences, and equipment needs. Treat children and parents with dignity, fostering group awareness through nonjudgmental discipline and positive team communication.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- One (1) year professional training or practical experience in the field of primary school education or childcare
- Maintenance of current CPR/First Aid training
- Must be able to relate well to children and team members
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
