Job Summary
Guide and care for children aged 6 weeks through 5 years in a Christ-centered environment, implementing structured free play, activities, and daily routines following the school day. Collaborate with staff to support physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development while addressing behavioral issues with love, respect, and patience. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom, ensuring licensing compliance and communicating daily with families regarding child progress. Work part-time year-round or during the school year (September–May) on a 3:00–5:45 p.m. schedule, adhering to all required training and staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must meet licensing requirements for an aide/assistant
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Maintains licensing compliance
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice for teaching children from 16 months-2 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- 16 years +, High School credits or diploma
- Has a commitment to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer
- Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit
- Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations
