Job Summary

Conduct weekday afternoon youth soccer sessions for children ages 2-8, managing groups of 5-10 kids with engaging, age-appropriate activities that build confidence and character. Create a fun, positive learning environment while communicating professionally with families and school staff. Arrive on time and prepared for every session, representing the organization positively throughout DuPage County. Complete comprehensive paid training and certification, with ongoing support and evaluations provided.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation to locations throughout DuPage County
  • Daily access to a smartphone and internet
  • Ability to pass a background check, fingerprinting, and medical screening in accordance with DCFS requirements
  • Ability to work weekday afternoons (approximately 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM)
  • Arrive on time and prepared for every session
  • Effectively manage groups of 5-10 children
  • Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and Soccer Shots leadership
  • Enjoy being active, enthusiastic, and encouraging
  • Comfortable being silly, imaginative, and interactive with young children
  • Create a fun and positive learning environment
  • Friendly, approachable, and dependable
  • Represents Soccer Shots positively at all locations
  • Maintains a professional appearance and attitude

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with young children
  • Teaching, coaching, childcare, camp counseling, or education experience
  • Soccer experience
