Job Summary
Supervise children in a safe, drug-free environment while implementing assigned lesson plans, helping with homework, and monitoring meals. Manage behavior, maintain cleanliness, and ensure adherence to OCFS regulations and the Kids Café Program Health Plan, including daily health checks and first aid readiness. Plan educational and recreational activities, maintain inventory, and complete required forms such as attendance sheets and incident reports. Act as a mandated reporter and submit to staff supervision as needed. Work flexible hours supporting the Corning Corps mission to help school-age children become productive citizens.
Required Qualifications
- Work well with school age children
- CPR certification
- Good communication skills to include verbal and written
- Good organizational skills
