Job Summary
Supervise children in accordance with OCFS regulations while implementing assigned activities and lesson plans. Assist students with homework, monitor meals, and teach appropriate table manners. Manage behavior, maintain designated areas, and plan educational, recreational, and special event activities. Complete and implement lesson plans while maintaining inventory of materials and supplies. Execute the Kids Café Program Health Plan, including daily health checks, basic first aid, and familiarity with emergency procedures. Represent the Salvation Army in accordance with the Eastern Territory Employee Manual and fulfill mandated reporter responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Work well with school age children
- CPR certification
- Good communication skills to include verbal and written
- Good organizational skills
