Job Summary
After School Youth Counselor role in Raleigh focuses on planning, organizing, and leading structured social and recreational programs for youth ages 5–18. Responsibilities include assisting in planning and leading activities, organizing sports and recreation, supporting Club sites to achieve program goals, enforcing rules, tracking member participation, providing instruction, actively engaging youth, and promoting social, emotional, and educational development through positive relationships with staff, parents, and members.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience planning and running youth programs
- Background in working directly with youth
- Strong ability to engage and motivate youth ages 5–18
- Good group management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with staff, parents, and members
