Job Summary
Safely transport children from local schools to Discovery Kidzone and scheduled activities while driving a 14-passenger van or small bus. Supervise students in a positive environment and lead outdoor games, recreational activities, and creative projects. Assist with daily needs including snacks, restroom routines, and transitions while maintaining a clean classroom and vehicle. Communicate professionally with families and collaborate with leadership to support program operations. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday for the 2026-2027 school year, starting August 2026 in Helena, MT. No prior childcare experience is required; paid training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a valid driver's license
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Be comfortable driving a 14-passenger van or small bus
- Be comfortable actively participating in indoor and outdoor activities
- Be dependable, patient, and calm in a busy environment
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Have an interest in working with school-age children
- Be willing to complete required Montana licensing and training requirements
- Be CPR Certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
