Job Summary
Part-time After-School Teacher at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center in Milwaukee, WI. Responsible for supervising 5-16 children in grades K4–5 after school (2:30 PM–6:00 PM), developing and leading engaging classroom activities, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and upholding program standards and licensing requirements. Collaborates with staff and the community to deliver high-quality programming, and demonstrates professionalism, cultural competence, conflict resolution, and strong communication and teamwork to support a positive, inclusive atmosphere aligned with the center’s mission to promote inquiry and positive development.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in childcare is required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification for infants, children, and adults is preferred.
