After School Teacher at Foxboro Elementary

As an After School Teacher at Foxboro Elementary, you will lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that adapts to the unique needs of each child; create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn; partner with parents to share a commitment to high-quality care and education; collaborate with center staff and leadership to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement; build positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and community partners. Required skills include outstanding customer service, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multi-task in dynamic situations. Credentials include an active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, with preference for an approved state trainer; 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred); a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred); willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification; and the ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents. The role also requires physical activity with children and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
