Job Summary
Facilitate and implement instructional activities for TK-12 students across multiple district sites, responding to staff callouts and covering open shifts as they become available. Provide assigned instruction in small or large groups, maintain appropriate program ratios, and supervise students during various school activities both inside and outside the classroom. Prepare daily activities, duplicate materials, operate instructional equipment, and monitor student progress while keeping the learning facility clean and organized. Maintain daily attendance logs, communicate regularly with parents, and attend weekly staff meetings or training sessions as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 48 Semester/60 Quarter College Units or pass NCLB test
- Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting)
- Provide a clear TB test
- Reliable transportation is required to meet the needs of the position
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and current auto insurance on file with HR (for those operating a vehicle for work purposes)
- Must be available M-F for the entire shift schedule
- Must be willing to travel to other sites to cover staff callouts
- Responsible to respond and commit to covering open shifts as they become available
- Demonstrate oral and written proficiency in English
- Correct oral and written usage of English Basic grammar, spelling, punctuation and math
