Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, in-person Speech & Debate instruction to students in grades 3rd-5th at the San Jose, CA site. Prepare for and execute weekly classes on Wednesdays from 3:45 to 4:45 PM, adhering to provided lesson plans and curriculum materials. Engage in professional communication with the Program Success Manager and participate in family engagement efforts including welcome letters and showcases. Maintain compliance with site expectations and manage all supplied instructional resources while fostering critical thinking and joy in the learning process.
Required Qualifications
- AA Degree (or higher)
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to complete mandatory training
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
