Job Summary
After-school Spanish Instructor leading engaging, beginner-level sessions for students at partner schools. Responsibilities include delivering structured Spanish language instruction focusing on speaking, listening, and vocabulary through interactive activities; adapting sessions to different skill levels; creating a positive, inclusive learning environment; coordinating with program staff on attendance and session updates; and supporting a culminating activity or demonstration of learning. Role is on-site in Encinitas, 1–4 hours per week, ~10-week program, with compensation at $50+ per instructional hour and rolling start dates. Qualifications emphasize proficiency in Spanish, prior student-facing experience, and strong communication/classroom-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 60 college credits (completed or in progress)
