Job Summary
Establish and maintain a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while teaching chess using provided video lessons and presentations. Continually emphasize good sportsmanship, including winning and losing graciously, and follow established classroom management guidelines. Ensure the classroom is left in better condition than found at the end of each shift. This role involves working with kids across multiple schools in the Philadelphia and surrounding NJ area, requiring self-transportation between locations. You will choose your own weekday afternoons for 2-hour shifts. Basic chess knowledge is needed, along with a genuine love for kids and strong integrity.
