Job Summary
Monitor student arrival and departure, track attendance, and supervise assigned students to ensure safety and schedule adherence. Plan, organize, and implement creative indoor activities, team sports, mindfulness programs, and study habits while overseeing academic, homework, and enrichment tasks. Support snack and supper program data tracking and travel to staff and school meetings as required. Lead groups of students in engaging indoor and outdoor activities with a high priority on safety, working independently and collaborating with teachers, parents, and students. Fluency in Spanish or Korean preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience working with school-aged children in an academic or recreational setting
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Extensive knowledge of age-appropriate classroom and behavior management skills and age-appropriate activities
- Fluency in a second language
- Ability to travel to staff meetings, school meetings, and training as scheduled and required
Desired Qualifications
- AA degree or at least two years of college coursework
- Passion for working with youth
- Fluency in Spanish
- Fluency in Korean
