Job Summary
Lead and assist in the County of Brant After School Program, organizing and implementing games, sports, and arts and crafts to provide a quality program experience. Display leadership and supervisory abilities, guide volunteers and peers, and coordinate planning, promotion and implementation of activities while ensuring safety and positive role-model conduct. Arrive early to prepare the program, participate in staff training, respond to communications within 24 hours, and maintain excellent relationships with schools and partner programs. Maintain a safe and clean program environment, manage issues during assigned periods, and contribute to program policies and procedures. This role emphasizes child development, leadership, teamwork, and strong communication to support program objectives and participant well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check (or willing to obtain one)
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR level C & AED
- Experience working with children
- Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Punctual and dependable
