Job Summary
Supervise and engage elementary students during afternoon after-school hours, planning and leading educational, recreational, arts, and science enrichment activities. Create a welcoming, inclusive environment while maintaining classroom expectations, monitoring safety, and preparing activity materials. Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and staff, and complete required documentation. Participate in special events and themed projects. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must meet applicable background-check and child-safety requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children
- College coursework or a degree in education, child development, recreation, or a related field
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
