Job Summary
Develop and lead developmentally appropriate activities for PreK-4 students, including arts and crafts, cooking, board games, and outdoor play. Provide continuous care and supervision while ensuring safety compliance with all school policies. Attend staff meetings and complete required in-house trainings. This role operates Monday through Friday afternoons within the After School Program at New Canaan Country School in New Canaan, CT. Candidates must possess supervision experience and First Aid/CPR certification, which is available through the school. The position supports our mission to guide students toward their intellectual, creative, and moral potential.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with being responsible for the supervision of children
- Ability to connect with students at the preschool/elementary/middle school grade level (PreK-4)
- Possess or acquire First Aid and CPR certificate (training available through school)
