Job Summary
After School Enrichment Specialist role to facilitate after school programming for priority students, focusing on academic support, enrichment opportunities, and college/career readiness. Work after school for 2 – 2.5 hours, collaborate with campus principals and After School Coordinator to align programs with school priorities, implement behavior-management systems, shape school-wide culture, provide enrichment/recreation leadership for groups of 12-18 students, and coordinate with Site Coordinator and Project Director on program design, evaluation, and outreach. Requires ongoing organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to track data for reporting, and adaptability in a school environment. Must be enrolled in college (up to 15 hours) or have a professional certification in the teaching subject, and attach transcripts to verify GPA and credits. Locality: Edinburg, TX, USA; Part-time schedule after school.
Required Qualifications
- Required Education: Current college enrollment, up to 15 college hours, or professional certification in the subject you will teach
- Required Experience: Experience working with youth (formal or informal) and experience working in a classroom/school setting (formal or informal)
