Job Summary
Implement a consistent behavior management system to develop students' character and community while facilitating planned enrichment and recreational activities for groups of 12–18 students. Assist in shaping a productive school culture, fostering student self-esteem through positive interactions, and increasing academic skill development. Coordinate program design and evaluation with the Site Coordinator and Project Director, attending scheduled meetings to organize activities and track weekly and monthly data. Work after school for 2–2.5 hours at an hourly rate of $14, supported by dental, vision, and professional development benefits. Required Qualifications
- Current college enrollment, up to 15 college hours, or professional certification in the subject you will teach
- Experience working with youth (formal or informal)
- Experience working in a classroom/school setting (formal or informal)
- Must attach an official or unofficial transcript to the application in order to verify GPA and credit hours earned
- Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
- Ability to track data weekly and monthly for reporting
