Job Summary
After School Enrichment Specialist will facilitate after-school programming for priority students, focusing on academic support, enrichment opportunities, and college/career readiness. Work with campus principals and the After School Coordinator to ensure programs align with school priorities. Implement a clear behavior-management system aligned to campus initiatives; develop a productive learning environment and foster students’ self-esteem and motivation. Lead planned enrichment/recreational activities for groups of 12-18 students, track data for reporting weekly/monthly, and collaborate with Site Coordinator and Project Director on program design and outreach. Requires current college enrollment or professional certification, and experience working with youth in school settings. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to adapt to diverse situations in a school environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current college enrollment, up to 15 college hours, or professional certification in the subject you will teach
- Experience working with youth (formal or informal) and experience working in a classroom/school setting (formal or informal)
