Job Summary
Develop activities for campers, lead Bible lessons, and supervise children completing homework assignments. Provide structure and direction while ensuring campers remain safe, secure, and engaged. Maintain a clean and organized facility throughout the day. Lead prepared lessons enthusiastically and demonstrate strong group management skills with age-appropriate discipline methods. Remain calm and adaptable even in stressful situations, occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Work standard afternoon hours from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting August 3, 2026, with pay starting at $17.50 per hour. This faith-centered role supports Wieuca Road Baptist Church's mission to provide a nurturing Christian environment for children.
Required Qualifications
- Prior related childcare experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification & knowledge of first aid a plus
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, sit for periods and move with the kids
