Job Summary
Provide appropriate supervision and maintain a safe, positive environment for school-age children during after-school programs. Engage participants in structured activities covering STEM, arts, literacy, and character development while assisting with homework and preparing learning spaces. Support activity specialists, plan field trips, and ensure proper group ratios. Maintain daily communication with immediate supervisors, parents, and school administration regarding participant well-being and progress. Serve as a positive role model and adhere to all safety protocols and training requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma
- Must have reliable communication/computer devices at home with the capacity to access the internet consistently to respond to organizational emails as well as complete training before the start of work (if needed)
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs
- Must be able to lift or move objects/materials as needed
- Must be able to report to the school and interact with staff, students, parents, and the school administration
- Must obtain safety and security clearances through the Department of Education and Department of Health
