Job Summary
Lead elementary students in enrichment activities and foster youth development within our after school setting. Guide kids through program activities while modeling wholeheartedness and reaching their full potential. Maintain a schedule of Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year. This role requires CPR/First Aid certification, a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation. Spanish-speaking ability is greatly valued. As a Christian ministry, Mentoring Alliance mobilizes godly people to provide tangible help and eternal hope to families in the community.
Required Qualifications
- Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
- Valid driver's license or Valid ID
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- Have dependable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- some post-secondary training highly preferred
- Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
