Job Summary
Assist senior staff in day-to-day operations of recreational programs, activities, and events, including equipment setup, cleanup, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Report infractions or issues to immediate supervisors and assist with participant counts during activities and field trips. Check areas at the start of the day for hazards and support special events as requested. Perform related duties ensuring the safety and wellbeing of program participants while adhering to NH work permit requirements and CPR/First Aid certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be able to satisfy NH work permit requirements
- Successful completion of 9th Grade of High School and enrolled in High School or equivalent
- Minimum age of 15 years old
- Must enjoy working with youth and being outside
- Must be able to follow directions from senior staff members
- Certification in CPR/First Aid endorsements from an approved agency
- Must be comfortable in the water and have the ability to swim
